    China Nose Mountain
    A steep hike (approximately two to three hours) will take climbers to the summit of the China Nose Mountain, offering views of the town, lakes and wetlands. Wildlife species such as mountain goats inhabit the area. China Nose Mountain measures 1439 m (4721 ft).

    Roche de Boule Mountains
    The town of Hazelton is surrounded by the 910 m (3,000 ft)cliffs of the Roche de Boule mountain range, topped by breathlessly high peaks, which cap out at the 2,076 metre (6,811 feet) height of Hagwilget Peak. The range stretches from Smithers through Hazelton to Kitseguecla.

    A scenic backdrop for the town of Smithers, Hudson Bay Mountain reaches an elevation of 2331 m (7648 ft) and offers year-round activities. On its upper slopes, a ski resort welcomes visitors to enjoy skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling. Hiking trails are found at the foot of the mountain and offer varied difficulty levels.
