Located south of Burns Lake, Francois Lake is the second longest natural lake in British Columbia. Offering several recreational opportunities including fishing for rainbow trout and char (lake trout). Campsites are also found along its shores.
With nearly 20 km (12 mi) of shoreline and three sandy beaches, Fraser Lake is a popular attraction for tourists and locals alike. Swimming, waterskiing and windsurfing are activities enjoyed at the lake.
Measuring only 800 m (2625 ft) long, the Nautley River is one of the smallest rivers in British Columbia. Watch for trumpeter swans that occasional feed here.
To access, take the Beaumont Provincial Park exit on Highway 16.
